1997 Peregrine Class 1 XL

Here is a sneak peak at my Peregrine Class 1 XL. This is my "rider" version of my Class 1 L. Most of the parts are used.

For the cranks, I found these un-stamped Redline Proline cranks. They just seem to fit the bike.

These are the Peregrine Madd Max 16 spoke wheels I restored. Someone along the way put the wheels in an Oxalic Acid bath, which is fine for chrome, but not for zinc plated spokes and nipples. The spokes and nipples had turned black from the exposure to the acid. I sent out the spokes and nipples to get re-plated and I re-created the rear hub decals because they were missing.

I found these 1st generation sealed bearing pedals that I think will work perfect. I'll clean them up a bit, but that's about it.

You can see in the picture below, the pedals have decals and plastic caps. These are first generation pedals before the Peregrine logo was part of the mold and they used machined aluminum caps.
